A Physical Therapist since 1998, Laura became a certified yoga teacher in 2008 to integrate it into her Physical Therapy practice.

Laura earned her undergraduate degree in Exercise and Sports Science from UNC-Chapel Hill in 1995 and her Masters in Physical Therapy at East Carolina University in 1998.

Laura has specialized training and experience in yoga for athletes, yoga for seniors, yoga for breast cancer survivors, and yoga for chronic pain.

She is the only certified practitioner of Lee Albert’s Integrated Positional Therapy (a gentle and effective manual therapy technique for neuromuscular pain) south of New York.
